I love the texture and color of this decrepit building.
I shot this in the very harsh midday sun. I feel the direct overhead light really accentuates the buildings exterior while keeping the windows in complete, inquisitive, darkness.

Walnut St. Bridge in Tennessee is one of the world’s longest pedestrian bridges. It connects downtown Chattanooga to the north shore and was built in 1890.

I took a hike up to Bearwallow recently which in just east of Asheville.
On my down from the grassy bald mountain, I saw a cotton candy palette of soft colors emerge right after sunset. The moon had risen as well but was barely visible, poking through the puffy clouds. I noticed a young couple enjoying the sight as well. They were taking photos with their cellphone with big smiles on their face.
I love the framing on this shot as the huge, big beautiful sky dwarfs all below it. What a sight.

There is something about the abrupt contrast from sea to land that always leaves me with more questions than answers about this mysterious planet.
